Mind, Body & Soul Prep for Before & After Birth
This is a series of movement-focussed classes where you will learn very specific strengthening and stretching sequences to help better prepare the body for the physical act of giving birth and support yourself on the road to recovery.
Gain confidence, strength, mobility, stamina and focus. Explore how to make an active birth more possible and comfortable and how it's possible to promote healing postpartum. Topics will include:
proper alignment and how it relates to birth;
how certain movements and positions may support baby positioning and progress in labour;
exercises to prepare the body for using a variety of positions in labour and for postpartum healing;
tapping into your intuition and using it;
postpartum recovery beyond losing weight.
